6 students wounded in Kabul grenade blast

Mar 18, 2018 - 16:40

KABUL (Pajhwok): Six students, including four girls, were wounded in a hand-grenade blast inside their private learning institute in Dash-i-Barchi area of Kabul City on Sunday.

Basir Mujahid, Kabul police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that an unknown individual entered the private learning institute named “Kawser Danish” and a hand grenade in his hand blew up soon after.

The unknown suspect was killed in the blast and a student was wounded, said Mujahid, who believed the attacker was a suicide bomber. He said the incident was being investigated.

However, Dr. Wahid Majroh, spokesmen for the Ministry of Public Health, said four girls and two boys had been evacuated to hospital from the blast site.
